History

Zion Hill Baptist Church was started some years prior to 1890 as a little prayer house located in the White Bluff area and later re-built near the place where Haven Home School formerly stood and Barlett Middle School now stands on Montgomery Crossroads. It was one of the many prayer houses started by First African Baptist Church.

MISSION

Our mission is to disseminate the Gospel of Jesus Christ and beyond. To minister people of diverse social, economic, or racial backgrounds. To restore those who are broken, wounded, or lost and to be the “Church” that reflects life in the “Kingdom of God”.

PASTOR
Clarence Kinlaw, Jr.

Brings over 31 years of faithful leadership, wisdom, and compassion to our church family. With a heart for people and a passion for sharing God’s Word, he has dedicated his life to guiding others in faith, purpose, and spiritual growth. Pastor Kinlaw’s teaching is both powerful and relatable, inspiring individuals and families to draw closer to God and live out their calling. His unwavering commitment to service and community continues to impact lives and strengthen our church. We are blessed to be led by a shepherd who truly cares for every soul.
